Bear Valley Bible Institute is a ministry training school in Denver, Colorado, dedicated to preparing men and women to serve Christ and His church. For Hunter, Bear Valley will provide an opportunity to spend the next two years immersed in Scripture while receiving practical training for preaching, teaching, and ministry.

During his time at Bear Valley, Hunter will participate in an intensive program of biblical study and ministry preparation. His days will be centered around studying Scripture, learning from experienced ministers and teachers, developing his ability to communicate God's Word, and gaining practical experience serving others.
His education will include both classroom study and opportunities to put what he is learning into practice. He will take courses in Biblical studies, Biblical languages, personal evangelism, church growth and history, preaching, ministerial development, study skills, doctrinal courses, and apologetics. Along the way, he'll be challenged to grow not only in his knowledge of Scripture, but also in his ability to teach, preach, lead, and serve.

We see these two years as a season of intentional preparation. Hunter has returned to the idea of ministry many times over the years, and now we're taking a tangible step toward that future.
Bear Valley gives him the opportunity to slow down and devote himself to studying God's Word in a way that would be difficult to do while balancing a full-time career and family responsibilities. It will be a season of learning, growth, service, and preparation.
For our family, that preparation is worth the sacrifice of moving states and building a new life in Colorado. We believe the investment we make during these two years can shape how Hunter serves others for decades to come.
